I'm quite sure the surgery is fine. Couldn't confirm that however as they never answer the phone so I've never actually managed to make an appointment

I have had 3 dealings with the surgery. One at registration - complete shambles as had lost my registration forms. One appointment with Doctor - Doctor great but waited 25 minutes for appointment. One with Nurse - arrived, checked in, waited (sitting alone with reception staff walking past me) in waiting room, after 30 minutes I checked when I was likely to be seeing the nurse. A Receptionist checked and said I could go straight in as the first Receptionist I saw hadn't checked me in, so the Nurse didn't know I was waiting. When I questioned this I was told it was a computer error. I can't prove whether that was the case, but what I do know is that no-one in the reception team bothered to check, when they could see me sitting there, why I was waiting for all that time. Had I not actually asked, I'd probably still be sitting there. Really, really poor.

I have always had wonderful experiences with the doctors at this surgery- I feel truly cared for at every appointment. However, I have never had an appointment that was on time. Even when my appointment was one of the first of the day, I have found myself sitting in the waiting room for half an hour before I was called. The reception staff have always been polite to me personally, but as I have spent quite a lot of time in the waiting room I have heard them speak to other patients in person and on the phone, and I am surprised that there have not been more complaints. The reception staff can be dismissive, short, and on occasion, downright rude. I'm happy at this surgery as the level of care is second to none, but it is by no means a 'perfect' surgery.

The service I have received over many years from all the team at Park Lane Surgery is of the highest standard. Several times recently I have had to make appointments at short notice and all the receptionist have always been most helpful. For a routine appointment the waiting time may be more than 7 days, in my opinion that is not excessive. I strongly feel that I am very fortunate to be in a practice where the needs of the patient are the primary concern of all the team.

I can't fault Park Lane surgery at all. All the staff from the doctors, nurses, reception staff and secretarial staff have been just brilliant with looking after me during my current health issues. All of them have gone the extra mile to ensure I get the best treatment and advise...thank you all
